10/06/11 - Tashkent hosts chess tournament

The 3.4 Central Asian regional chess tournament, which will identify participants of the world cup among men and the world championship among women started in Tashkent. Thirty players from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are taking part in the competition, which will last until 16 June. Uzbekistan is represented by Anton Filippov, Jurabek Hamroqulov, Marat Jumayev, Nafisa Muminova, Olga Sobirova and others. UzA
