Naoto Kan, Prime Minister of Japan, sent a letter to Islam Karimov, President of Uzbekistan.
In the letter, Naoto Kan thanked Islam Karimov for the kind words of sympathy expressed in connection with the earthquake in the Pacific Ocean near Tohoku region, UzA informs.
“The Government of Japan, together with the population of the affected areas and people of the whole country, will make every effort to overcome this difficult time,” Naoto Kan wrote.
