On the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-Bak will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on 23-24 August.
Expansion and consolidation of cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea, along with pressing issues of regional and international politics are to be discussed during the visit.
Bilateral documents aimed at enhancing the interaction between the two nations in diverse areas are expected to be signed following the forthcoming negotiations.
