22/12/11 - Yangi avlod 2011 awarding ceremony held

A gala concert dedicated to the awarding ceremony of the winners of Yangi avlod – 2011 festival was held at the Istiqlol palace on 19 December.
The event was organized by the Fund “Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan” jointly with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the children’s organization Kamalak.
The representatives of education, culture and arts, teachers, parents and community representatives as well as participants of the final stage of the festival have participated in the ceremony.
The Fund “Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan” provides support in implementing various projects aimed at ensuring the rights and interests of children, identifying creative and intellectual potential of the younger generation.
The festival was held in high spirit. Over 26 thousand boys and girls from across the country have demonstrated their skills in such areas like playing musical instruments, dancing, fine and applied arts as well as in literature.
The winners were identified and awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts.
