The VIII International Exhibition-Fair of mini-technologies and compact equipment for agriculture «Uzbekistan Agrominitech Expo-2013" and the II International specialized exhibition of agricultural machinery, equipment and machinery «Uzbekistan Agrotechmash Expo-2013" opened at the UzExpoCentre in Tashkent, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and the Council of the farmers of Uzbekistan.

At the opening ceremony, it was noted that under the leadership of President Islam Karimov modern technologies were consistently introduced to agriculture.

Decree of President Islam Karimov "On measures for the organization of the International specialized exhibition-fair of mini-technologies and compact equipment for agriculture" from August 24, 2006 is an important factor in creating opportunities for farmers and dekhkans to get information, acquire and operate modern equipment and technology.

A wide range of products and services, demonstrated at exhibitions, includes about a hundred categories, such as compact plants for processing of agricultural products, mini-technologies for packaging and equipment for livestock, poultry farming, beekeeping and gardening, mini equipment for livestock fodder, horticulture and viticulture, chemicals, crop protection, Karakul and leather processing, organization of greenhouses.

Main sections of the exhibition-fair «Uzbekistan Agrominitech Expo-2013" include "Tractors and trailers", "Land reclamation equipment and machinery", "minerals sprayers", "Equipment for the treatment of the soil", "Sorting and packing machines , "" Greenhouse complexes. "

Each year, an increasing number of companies express their will to showcase their products at these shows. Many companies from China, South Korea, Germany, Sweden, Israel, Italy, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Japan, Turkey and France are attending the exhibitions this year.

Today, our farmers are using high-tech equipment to sell locally grown products not only as raw material, but also as a finished product, the demand for which is growing in the global market. This promotes the development of processing enterprises, improves the export potential of the agricultural sector of the country, creating thousands of new jobs.

Particular attention is paid to raise awareness among consumers about the available financial resources for the purchase of mini-technologies and compact equipment. In order to create facilities for the execution of contracts in short time, representatives of banks, leasing and transportation companies, customs and tax spheres are also attending the event, who give appropriate advice to farmers on the spot and to assist them in the design of commercial contracts.

Thousands of farmers and small businesses from all regions of the country are invited to the event, which will last four days. On the first day of exhibitions rural workers Syrdarya, Jizzakh and Tashkent regions and metropolitan businessmen get acquainted with modern technologies and equipment on show.

Presentations of modern foreign technologies, seminars and meetings for farmers are to be held as part of the official program.

Exhibition-fair «Uzbekistan Agrominitech Expo-2013" and the exhibition «Uzbekistan Agrotechmash Expo-2013" will contribute to the further development of manufacturing and processing industries, expansion of exports.
