13/01/11 - Marat Jumayev will play in the final round

Uzbek grandmaster Marat Jumayev will compete for victory in the final round of the fourth international chess tournament “Chennai Open 2012” passing in India. At prestigious competitions with the participation of about 300 players from 15 countries, Marat has successfully completed the last two parties against strongest opponents and got the right to fight for the title of the champion. In the ninth round, M.Jumayev playing with black pieces against the Hungarian grandmaster Hoang Thanh Trang completed the game with a draw. And in the tenth round defeated the Indian chess player Sethuraman. In the eleventh round, Jumayev will play against one of the leading chess players Yu Ruiyuan of China. If the Uzbek grandmaster wins, he will have a chance to win the grand prize of the tournament. UzA
