Information resource centers help farmers
An information resource center providing information and consultative services to farmers opened in Tashkent region.
The center, organized by the Farms Association of Uzbekistan, will help farmers improve their knowledge about agricultural technologies, entrepreneurship, environmental and other issues.
It also offers computer services, including internet access, as well as preparation of various documents.
The farmers may read the country’s laws, decrees and resolutions of the President and the government, and study foreign agricultural experience.
Similar centers already function in Fergana, Kashkadarya and Khorezm regions, Kuvondik Khotamov of Farms Association said.
By the year end, such centers will appear in Samarkand and Bukhara regions, too.
