New presidential elections in Uzbekistan will be held on 4 December, the chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Uzbekistan Mirzo-Ulugbek Abdusalomov said. CEC adopted a corresponding decision on holding presidential elections on 9 September, he said. According to CEC, the elections of the President of Uzbekistan will be held on Sunday, 4 December 2016. In this connection, Central Election Commission announced about launch of presidential election campaign in Uzbekistan from 9 September.
