The new magazine XX-asr Texnologiyalari (Technologies of the Twenty-First Century) has been founded with a resolution of Uzbekistan’s cabinet of ministers. Targeted at young people, the paper is published within the national program the Year of Comprehensively Advanced Generation. 
The new magazine is called to raise the creative and intellectual potential in the younger generation by means of informing them about the latest progress in science and technologies, engineering products and research. 
The editorial office of Technologies the Twenty-First Century is formed as a state enterprise with a status of legal entity. 
The magazine is founded by the Committee for Science and Technologies Coordination under the Cabinet of Ministers, State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Public Property Management, Uzbek Agency for Communication and Informatization (UzACI) and Uzbek Agency for Press and Information. The edition prioritizes coverage of reforms in the sphere of science and research in Uzbekistan, development and introduction of modern technologies, innovations and related events in the international hi-tech industry. It is designed to provide opportunities for young specialists to publish their pieces.
The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, Ministry of Public Education, UzACI, Academy of Sciences, Turin Polytechnic University, JSC O’zavtosanoat and others are to assist in the formation of content.
Schoolchildren, students of academic lyceums and professional colleges are believed to make up the principal readership of the magazine.
