05/04/10 - Exhibition Hall in Tashkent Hosts Expo on Uzbek Youth

The Exhibition Hall of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan in Tashkent is reported to have been hosting the traditional exposition of photographic works, according to the Uzbekistan National News Agency. 

Such creative project launched in the framework of the “Year of harmonious development” State program is being hosted along with cooperation with Ministry for Culture and Sports, Republican Scientific and Methodical Center for People’s Art and Cultural-Enlightenment Work and News Center, Academy of Arts, “Oltin Meros” and “Makhalla” funds, as well as the “Kamolot” Public Youth Movement, according to the news agency. 

The exhibition presents over 150 works of winners of Karakalpakstan-held, regional and Tashkent city exhibitions devoted to ensuring rights and interests of youth in Uzbekistan, creating conditions for education of young men and women, according to the report. 

Also, the pictures reflect life and activity of talented youth known to have secured certain successes in the sphere of education, culture, arts and sports. 

With the photography exhibition being over its organizers are expected to award authors of works that succeeded to artistically reflect the life of the Uzbek youth, the report added.
